No, they don't. Did you ever actually read his Miami Herald column?
And his radio show blows because it's such a non-effort show. "Oh, look at us! We don't care about sports! We don't do any show prep! We're so whacky!" It's a lame derivative of 1000s of Morning Zoo hacks with a slight sports bent.
And Dan tries to push this loose cannon, I'll-say-the-things-no one-else-will persona up until the point you challenge his PC narrative. Then he can't shut up the caller quick enough. He's a fraud and fits right in with ESPN.

I'm not a fan of Dan but his show is the best thing on ESPN radio since SVP left. Mike Ryan and Stugotz are good characters.

My point is DL is basically a blowhard and hypocrite. Nothing is off-limits UNTIL you get to Cuba and Castro.

I get that you don't like Dan, but stugotz on his own would be terrible IMO. I love his character but he needs a complementary partner to call him out on his bullshite. Dan does that part of the job very well
