Lol OP is illiterate.

NBA drew a 3.5, MLB drew a 4.3.

I'm a Cubs fan, and even I wanted to turn that game off. So I don't blame anyone that didn't watch it.

OP was a tad misleading

NBA did have the highest peak at 4.8 for Cavs game (4.0 overall)
MLB had the highest overall at 4.3 for Cubs game

Baseball is fantastic regionally.

NBA has the edge nationally.

Not sure why this is so hard for people to understand. Go look at the MLB tv contracts for the regional markets if you need further help.

No, the Cubs game peaked over 5.5. Pretty much the OP got it all wrong.

That’s pretty sad. I’d much rather watch the playoffs over some opening night game with very little meaning, but I guess I’m in the minority for some odd reason. I can’t even remember the last time I watched a full NBA game. Playoffs always trumps regular season in my living room.

You can't pull the 1/4 hour peak and claim those are the ratings for the entire game.

Uh both are highly viewed nights that might have similar amounts of viewers. Why are you laughing? There were 2 games in each sport that people nationally gave a frick about.
