Unbelievable.

Rockets better be on the phone now. Better yet, my Bulls should be on the phone with him now.

Worth repeating: Rockets interviewed Vogel for 7 hrs in 2011. He had dinner w/ Leslie Alexander the night before. Worked with Morey in Boston.

It's just a matter of time before the march for Reggie begins.

I'm gonna laugh when they hire Mark Jackson

McHale makes a lot of sense....I'd bet money on that happening.

Larry bird is crazy. Doesn't matter who coaches the pacers they won't get far in the east with LBJ there and with the team Miami put together.

No, he's not. Players matter a lot more than coaches, but Larry knows players tune out their coaches after 2 or 3 years. That doesn't mean any coach or Vogel is not a worthy coach.

I'd reserve judgment on the state of the conferences. This offseason will be the most significant of the past 30 years, at least. The player movement will be unprecedented. Conferences could be completely rebalanced next season.

wut? undisciplined players tune out their coaches. unsuccessful and sorry coaches get tuned out. none of that was the case in Indiana. It's clear that Larry wants a coach with a fast game approach.

Seems like a really bad move but bird obviously wants to change how fast they play. Vogel has done a great job here; can't imagine this working out.

I guess people are saying mchale because of the Celtics but bird and Mchale did not get along when they played together.

I agree that they'll run it by him, but don't see any reason why he wouldn't approve.

cyberx: Sources: Vogel: Contacted by Morey - Morey trying to move fast. Meeting scheduled, Morey is trying to be first in line ala Lakers - Walton.

Very DL

This would be a GREAT win to this team.
