Whatever helps you sleep at night. Auburn tried to run a simple straight spread the first couple of possessions. A few three and outs and they realized they were going to have to open up the playbook.
Special teams is what blew that game open. Tech couldn't contain the punt returner.

Tech had 3 turnovers in the fourth quarter in their own territory. One of them was a muffed punt, another was a pass that hit our WR in the hands and was intercepted on the deflection. Those are not turnovers because of NSU, that was just Tech shooting themselves in the foot.
I gave the congrats to NSU, but anyone that watched that game knew what a huge upset that was. Tech just didnt show up. Upsets happen. The better team doesn't always win.

I never said Tech was in the same league as Auburn. All I said was Skip hasn't had time to recruit the depth necessary to pull off an upset like that.
