Something I learned today, LeBron has a no trade clause. So there's zero chance they can trade him.

Also, even if you could, not sure I'd want to build around Kyrie. May be better off trading him as well since you're guaranteeing you can't win.

Exactly, Kawhi is a great iso scorer now so Pop let's him do his thing. Kyrie is even better, I believe was top 5 in iso points per possession last year. Spurs desperately need talent, they would love to have him.

Why do the Cavs care who Kyrie wants to be traded to? He doesn't have a trade clause like Melo. He still is under contract 3 years. Trade him to the Kings to punish him.

Goodwill. If teams do what players would like them to do it will help them in the future. It's a big part of why you will see melo in CC next year. That's where he wants to go. They have new management in place. And other players are paying attention.

People already know how Gilbert treats players. Might as well get the best package.

You Arent looking at it from Gilbert's point of view. He likely doesn't feel the same way about how he treats his players that you do.

Kyrie is tired of playing with that ball hog prima donna LeBron James. I don't blame him.

Spurs gonna be a force next year

You would've said this regardless. I bet you said the same thing when TMac was on the roster

ETA: they were a force then but it wasn't due to TMAC

Well let's see, what were the Cavs like WITHOUT LeBron? Gilbert is very obviously a pretty toxic guy IMO. The Rockets were damn lucky they had Les Alexander around to treat them well, and its going to be interesting to see who buys the team now because it could create an environment like the Knicks, Cavs, Magic, Kings, etc. I never realized how an owner could break a franchise so easily.

Makes more sense.

What's funny is the espn homepage saying he wants to "evade" lebron. Click bait!!!!

That's currently the narrative out there. Thank goodness for Woj on this one. ESPN made a great move by getting him. You can tell he isn't even in slightest bit inclined to report gossip/TMZ-like stories. He just reports it as he gets it.

A) Dan Gilbert is a moron and the Cavs have no GM.

B) I think Kyrie just wants out of Cleveland period. He knows other teams will want him anyways.

Kyrie tired of carrying the team in clutch time and not getting credit for it.
