Because they are the same people who are so quick to support Michael Brown and anyone with half a brain knows how ill-informed that is.

You'd love Lebron's instagram pic

Yeah, black athletes in particular are a bunch of sheeps when it comes to current events.

At least they know how to spell "breathe."

The man said like 12 times he couldn't breath. Maybe let up a little on the choke hold.. Where's he going to go any ways, he's surrounded by cops in public during the day. shoot I'd resist arrest out of panic too even though I've done nothing wrong. Especially if I couldnt breath.

If they want to support the guy that's their prerogative. I don't find this particular situation similar to the others such as ferguson.

I'm sure LeBron and Kyrie have done plenty of charity work for children, sick or otherwise troubled. Stop pretending to be Colin Cowherd. It's gross.

Looks like Jarrett Jack (an eskimo brother of mine) did too. Odds that gets mentioned?

I have no problem with athletes doing this sort of thing.

Especially when it's a valid cause, like the Garner case. Funny how everyone on the OT (or the vast majority) seemed outraged when they refused the indictment, but now that athletes are protesting everyone's jumping off the wagon.

FWIW, I haven't expressed my opinion on the matter, just think its dumb for athletes to jump on the media bandwagon for dumb shite like this when there are millions of kids and honest people dying from much worse.
