I'm no medical expert, but I'm pretty sure if you can YELL "I can't breathe" repeatedly... you can in fact breathe
You're no logic expert either.

Instead of being focused on outlier events how about you asswipes start doing more protests about the mass amounts of black on black crime in the neighborhoods many of you come from?
They can still protest the way they're treated by cops, just not as the outlier events, you mentioned.

Not sure why everyone defaults to the black on black thing to deflect from what we all know, I mean, we all know it's better to be a white dude getting pulled over by the cops then a black dude.

Lebron has said more on social issues than any high profile athlete in recent memory. He risks alienating (it's evident in this thread) a lot of people to do so, but he still takes that risk. Lebron has truly done a lot for his Akron community and for young people from poor environments. Maybe it's because he came from those environment, but he seems to get it. Yet people still have the nerve to bash the guy for his good deeds

Did you guys have a problem when Ali, Tommie smith and John Carlos made political statements?

Agreed. I love how everyone bashes cops 24/7 on this site (especially regarding dogs), but when we see a clear cut example of police overreach, people make excuses for it.

Wish there was a reverse protest. Everyone who knows the truth should turn off the TV for the night.
Since I can't stand the NBA, my protest won't have any effect.

I'm not making excuses for him, I think the garner case was excessive but the brown shooting, while tragic seems justified. I didn't see the media outage when a white cop shot a white guy with a long criminal record who tried taking his gun right here in Baton Rouge.

Not really. I don't have much admiration for Mr. "Republicans Buy Sneakers Too". That to whom much has been given, much is expected.

Agree. I am glad that unlike the Madison Avenue Robot that Jordan is, that LeBron James is more active on social issues like older Black athletes(Bill Russell, Jim Brown,Arthur Ashe, Kareem,etc...to name a few).

LeBron & other athlete's don't run away from controversial social topics from Trayvon, Sterling, police brutality,etc......DWade was very vocal about Trayvon & even wrote an exclusive article for Ebony magazine.

Asked about Sterling Jordan said 'no comment' & days later released a prepared statement condemning him. Guy is a damn robot & refreshing to see Lebron , as the most famous athlete, actually have an opinion & be socially concious .

He didn't 'fight cops.' Michael Brown may have, but Garner didn't.

None of these guys know shite about current events other than they go on twitter and see there is some trendy cause in which to act like they will take part.

How do you know what they read and don't read? They aren't allowed to have an opinion?

If white people had the same toxic relationship minorities communities had with police officers, then it would be in the news (not saying that it doesn't deserve TV coverage).

its very refreshing to see, especially since people like JAYZ, drake, Diddy, etc are no where to be found.
