That said, Kobe couldn't have won without shaq, and he couldn't until he got Gasol. So it pisses me off that Lebron gets so much shite for going to the heat, even if he did it in a poor manor.

They had one of the best records in the nba before getting gasol pre-Bynum injury

Oh, and I love this Website.
This is the "clutch" stats from last season
Compare Kobe and Lebron in this

Pretty similar, Kobe has more minutes, higher 3pt% and FT%, Points, Assists, and steals

Lebron has a higher +/-, FG%, Rebounds, and blocks, with less Turn overs

Still couldn't win it

Plus you hate Lebron and love Kobe, idgaf what your opinion is. We could go all day back and forth about different things to make one player seem better than the other. Let's just agree to disagree

Man I just love basketball and Lebron is my favorite player, I think he gets a lot more shite than he deserves, but once he starts winning it'll all go away.

I just hate the fans that like one player and can't even acknowledge that other players are great too
Which Kobe and Lebron both are

I hear ya man, nothing wrong with that. And I do think that both are great players. And trust me I used to be all about Lebron. I used to watch all his highschool games and download with my brother. (Especially his junior year against Oak Hill. That battle between him and Melo in that game was amazing.) But he's just changed to me man. I know it happens to people. I dont know what it is, I just cannot get behind the dude anymore. I won't deny his skill set though. Ya dig.

I completely respect where you're coming from
He shouldn't have his friends helping him make decisions, and I'll leave it at that

not to nit-pick or anything but Lebron is 3 inches taller, about 20 to 30 lbs. heavier, and is a SF. He should have more rebounds and blocked shots than a 6'6 shooting guard

shooting guard

And Kobe should be a better shooter and have more points because that is his role for the position he plays. Shooting guards should be able to shoot and score

Like I said we can go back and fourth all day

He is a better shooter than Lebron. If Kobe had Lebron's size, speed, and athleticism he could have averaged 50 a night in his prime. I realize layups and dunks are apart of the game but the skill of actually shooting a basketball and the footwork and moves to play in the post when it comes to that Kobe is hands down better than Lebron. Lebron is a better passer and rebounder but when it comes to scoring from all parts of the game the only 2 on Kobe's level are Carmelo and Durant

And if Lebron could shoot like Kobe he would have 50 a night in his prime. We are going in circles man. I'll tell you the same thing I told unknown, let's agree to disagree

And I know it's old news, but thank Effing God the NBA is back

True, I may have exagerrated in my previous post. I haven't been paying much attention to the NBA so far, honestly. The last time I looked he wasn't top 10 in PER, looks like he got a huge bump from his game last night though

If Chris Paul kept his speed but had Shaq's size, Ray Allen's shooting ability, and could play defense like KG then he'd be the GOAT. Some cyborg legs would be nice too

good lord those kinds of comments are so meaningless

imagine how awesome mark price would have been if he was as fast as allen iverson and as big as shaq

how good someone would be if they were different is not the point

wow dude. so answer me the following.

Your saying that the Heat minus Lebron are worse off than:

*Thunder w/o Durant
*Lakers w/o Kobe
*Magic w/o Dwight
*Knicks w/o Melo
*Bulls w/o DRose-whom wasn't even in your top 5.

All these teams without their star guy would beat the Heat without Lebron? Honestly?

I'm just saying its alot easier to average 30 a night getting mostly lay ups and dunks than it is to average 30 a night shooting mostly mid-range jump shots. Lebron's fg% doesn't impress me that much because most of his shots come from near the rim. 45%+ shooting jumpers and 3's is much more impressive but thats just me personally.

My biggest problem with Lebron is I think he thinks he's entitled and is lazy. With his size and strength he should dominate anybody not named Dwight Howard down in the post and he just can't and all it takes is hard work and he just hasn't put it in. He's out at the club partying all night while Kobe is up at 4 am shooting and lifting weights. Lebron's been given the ultimate gift from God and he takes it for granted

none of that matter IMO - if you have teh strength to go inside and make high percentage shots then you have a higher field goal percentage and do your team more good

moral judgements about degree of difficulty are irrelevant IMO

I think that is a fair criticism
