You don't understand California laws. Prenup would be irrelevant in their case.

How is anyone gonna both go straight to the pros out of HS and go to college?

Well duh, son of a pro player and lived all over the world apprenticing for the job so he was ready by 18.

I'd like to see basketball go to the baseball-style rules. One can either go pro right out of high school or go to school and be required to stay 3 years. I think it'd be healthier for both the NBA and the college game. It would also strengthen the D League.

Well that's a stupid thing to say.

How? One and done only effects like 3-5 schools in a given year

You'd basically either force a bunch of kids to jump too early or punish them for being just a slightly late bloomer. The requirement to stay 3 years in college is just absurd.

The only reason the NBA got rid of high school to pros is to protect themselves from their own incompetent scouting.

Because NBA has better coaching, money, and structure than college.

What? You don't think LeBron would have been better off playing for free with worse coaching and going to class?

Yep. According to the other poster's logic, you can't ever critique any decision you ever make because you wouldn't know what happened if you didn't make it.

I have this odd belief that in a so called free society, a private business should be allowed to set minimum requirements for employment, even if the majority of people have absolutely zero stake in the matter disagree.

There are people in high positions that don't have social nor coping skills.
