Man WGN was the tits. Bringing 15 or so MJ/Pip regular season games to the masses every year. How fortunate they played in that particular media market or those around the country would have to wait for postseason ball and the aforementioned few TNT games.

That's because their fans still go to the games. NY fans will go to the games to kill/berate their teams but they'll still go and watch on TV.

L.A. fans are the ones that'll simply forget about you when you suck.

Spurs on national tv today.

No matter how small your market is, when you're as successful as them, you get to be on national tv a lot even when you're playing a dumpster fire like the Knicks.

Look at how many Saints Sunday or Monday primetime games were against the Cowboys, Giants, Packers, etc.

Even the AFC teams like the Patriots, Steelers, and Jets.

Just like the same way every ESPN SEC primetime basketball game is "Kentucky vs. Other," even when Florida was better than them. But hey, that means every SEC gets on TV once, right?

Yeah those big market teams get all the love.

Playoff hype for them in the preseason when these networks mapped out their schedules

Very obviously manufactured hype. No one with serious basketball insight looked at them and said 'Man, they may do more than possibly, under perfect conditions, not suck so hard as to be out of contention for that 8th seed before January starts'.

That's always been a terrible basketball team, no matter how much advertisers and publishers have tried to spin them as having a shot at relevance to sell papers/get audiences.

Exactly. Just like in a few weeks we're gonna hear that Notre Dame has a shot at the playoff or the Yankees have the best young nucleus in baseball.

Norte Dame hate is the most irrational hate ever.

Not even a part of the thread and some LSU has to take a cheap shot.

Melo needs to send residual checks to LeBron the only reason his relevant is being in that draft class, his the 4tg best player on his own team and to s getting his arse worked over on defense

This Knicks team isn't bad. They HAVE to get rid of Melo for a defensive minded wing, I even like rose on this team. Melo is a horrible fit

frick the HYC

If you want I can start discussing the stupid traditions of the poor boys.

I mean it's sad they got their arse whipped by a cheerleader while drawing a weapon.

I mean at least one of the schools we are discussing wins meaningful games and has a real trophy case.
