Doesn't matter how much of a dumpster fire you are. You play in the largest market you get to be on tv 29 times a year.

I know what you're saying and totally agree with you but, there was Playoff hype for them in the preseason when these networks mapped out their schedules

Same with the Lakers

Meanwhile we never get to see the Jazz, in my opinion the 2nd best team in the NBA right now

The Knicks were absent from national television for a long time until recently. The Lakers and Cowboys can go winless the season before and still dominate the national landscape.

Yeah, when we thought that KP would take that big leap.

Lakers
Cowboys
Yankees

And who's the national hockey brand team? Would it be Red Wings or Blackhawks?

The team with the 4th best record in the West who has just lost back to back games @ Dallas and home vs. Boston

Sure you believe that...

You should have been around in the early to mid 80's. (Maybe you were, I don't know your age). CBS had a Sunday game of the week and I grew up thinking that there were only about 4-5 teams in the NBA. It was always some combination of the Celtics, 76ers, Lakers, Knicks, and maybe the Rockets.

Noah
Melo
Porz
Rose

If one of those players had played up to their prime years, they might have been competitive next to Kristaps. If 2 had, we'd be talking a 5-6 game series with Cleveland and a 50 win team.

Unfortunately, Noah's not good. Melo is getting older. Rose is quite literally not showing up for games.

That was the gamble. It was a long shot but any team matching CLE in 7 is.

The spurs played the jazz 67 consecutive Sundays in the 90s on NBC.31 of those games came after the Knicks played the heat
