Season high 43 points. 27 points in the third so far. He's just jacking it up and just about everything is falling. And what's funny is that as awesome as he's doing, it pales in comparison to what he pulled last year.

I'm not sure but I think GS has like 137 points this quarter.

ETA: third finally ended.

I don't get to see a lot of GS in Chicago, but they are TV on tonight.

They are just stupid. It's like they're playing an entirely different game.

You almost have yo catch their games on time because if you tune in late, Steph and Klay may be clocking out early.

Thompson reminds me of a better version of JR Smith when he's having games like this. Jump shooter that's close to unstoppable when he's in a groove. In this offense he can rattle off 20 points quicker than anyone in the league.

That said, I think he's one of the most overrated players in the league.

Well I think the word you're looking for is historic, not stupid.

Seriously? They are constantly on national TV.

In the sporting and hip sense, "stupid" is high praise.

The Warriors' performance so far this year is stupid good

For some random reason, it seems like they aren't on all that often here. Maybe I don't pay attention to national broadcasts enough given a demanding work schedule, but tonight was only the second time I've been able to see them this year.

As a guy who didn't care much for the NBA after 1998 and didn't pick it back up again even casually until about five years ago or so, this Warriors team has become appointment television for me. I legitimately struggle with adjectives to describe them - Curry is beyond normal sporting at this point. What he does is art in athletic form. The only global comparison he has right now is Messi.

Name the shooting guards better than him. He plays a very shallow position.

What does the quality of shooting guards in the league have to do with him being individually overrated? He was being mentioned as a top 10-15 player last year during the regular season (especially from the hyperbole following that 37 point quarter), then he had a pretty rough postseason and bad Finals. I'd be interested to see how he'd do outside of that offense and especially without another dominant wing to free him up.

To answer your question, Harden and Butler are definitely better. Some notable stats for shooting guards and where Klay ranks this year:

PER - 9th
Value Added - 7th
Estimated Wins Added - 7th
Usage - 13th

39 words:

They played a banged up Warriors team that was on the end of a road trip and the second night of a back to back. The Bucks are a lottery team in the East that got lucky one night.

If this is true, then you're right.

I generally look at him as the third best SG, too.

He's probably in the 20-30 range.
