You're saying New Yankee Stadium is greater than Wrigley and Old Yankee Stadium, but worse than Fenway?

That is just false.

Of the ones I've visited so far here are my ranking:

1. Fenway
2. Wrigley (I'm a Cubs fan and Fenway was cooler)
3. Old Yankee Stadium
4. Camden Yards
5. PNC Park
6. ATT Park
7. Astrodome (nostalgia factor, first game I ever saw in person)
8. Dodger Stadium
9. New Yankee Stadium
10. Kaufman Stadium
11. Ballpark in Arlington
12. Minute Maid Park
13. Angels Stadium
14. Turner Field

As much as I disliked the Yankees growing up, the history and magic of that old stadium could be felt through the damn tv!! What a place for some playoff baseball, respect respect respect.

That said...fvck the Yankees.

Ive been to the old yankee stadium probably close to 100 times and every time i walk into the new stadium i get a tinge of sadness.

Just looking at the outfied knowing Mantle, Ruth, DiMaggio, ect. played there always gave me goosebumps.

I will always miss the old stadium.

To each his own, but, that's exactly what I'm saying.

Clearly, comparing apples to oranges.

Fenway is tops bar none.

Wrigley is an odd one. Clearly old. Clearly historic. But, almost too updated in a way that feels contrived. Freakin guys walking around playing instruments like you're in the 20s, huge bathrooms, wide concourses, etc.

Fenway has none of that. Freakin old and feels old. Sitting cheek to cheek, crammed bathrooms, etc.

Fenway>>>>>>Wrigley.

Then you throw in the Yankee Stadiums. New better than old. Sorry. But both are better than Wrigley.

Since comparing apples to oranges, I'd throw Camden Yards and Pac Bell/AT&T above Wrigley too.

I agree with a lot of what you said... but NO WAY is the New Yankee Stadium better than the old one. You want to talk about contrived? That place is so corporate trying to masquerade as the old stadium.

I can accept the differing of opinions, but as nice as Camden/ATT are, they aren't on the level of Wrigley... contrived or not.
