Also beware the Eurostar has an airline-style security that you will need to be an hour early to cross.
Good call. I was going to say the same thing except to say 2 hrs during the summer. Summer line can extend past the waiting area and down the hall. ...
re: How would the US be different if women were never allowed to vote?
It is an absolute disgrace
The thing is, we all grew up accepting the fact that women voting is fine and normal as none of us on TD were born before 1920.
But, this was not the case for at least 2,000 years (only going back to beginnings of Roman Empire as we know that the Roman ...

How would the US be different if women were never allowed to vote?
Posted by KwoodTiger on 4/13/24 at 4:44 am
The US was one of the first democracies to enact full suffrage in 1920 with other democracies following such as the UK in 1928, France in 1944, etc.
So, the right to vote for women was not an assumed right for centuries in many geographies. And, one could argue the US either led the way, or, impl...
The only thing I can think of is within Provo city limits it's incredibly boring. Very high percentage of Mormons make it that way.
Live in UT as well. While Provo not our scene due to mentioned reasons, there are certainly worse cities. There some really crap towns on the way down t...
Yeah, but for 6 years you got to fellate yourself thinking about how much your friends, family, co-workers, neighbors, and other “poors” on the road envy your car and how successful you are in life!

How low on oil did y’all run it with the leak to ultimately cause the rod knock?
Never ran really low as leak was minimal. Maybe dime size spot. Brought in as soon as noticed....
Curious what the dealership did in their $4-$5k of repairs, could they have possibly fricked something up?
That’s what I’m wondering. And, the basis for my fight with dealer.
Seems HIGHLY improbable that 3 separate, major maintenance issues over a 4-week span are independent of ea...
PSA - Audi sucks
Posted by KwoodTiger on 3/11/24 at 7:59 pm
So, the wife has a 2018 SQ5. Other than replacing brake pads, first 5 years of ownership was hassle free.
However, about a month ago, vehicle had an intermittent slow oil leak. Brought in the vehicle to dealer service department, vehicle has to have oil filter housing replaced. Ok, sucks but part...
re: ESPN: How Alabama moved from Nick Saban to Kalen DeBoer in 49 hours

Out of that entire read, biggest takeaway is glad they didn’t hire Norvell.
Oh, and Saban was a cheater. Level playing field does not work for him. Would have been a Dolphins repeat and he knew it. ...

It’s just west of Waimea Bay with minimal signage....

U2 at the Sphere

Attended this past Wednesday night. Incredible, incredible experience. The Sphere changes the concert experience in a very positive way.
That said, thought the play set could have been better. While advertised as Achtung Baby tour, the band literally only played two Joshua Tree songs and nothing ...

Agree.
Based on the responses thus far, the answer does seem to be no.
