Manning, would have had punishment upheld.

Yes. That New York judge is certainly working for the league to give the Patriots an unfair advantage

KEY POINTS FROM TOM BRADY RULING
- The court found that Brady had no notice that he could receive a four-game suspension for general awareness of ball deflation by others
- Brady also had no notice that his discipline would be the equivalent of the discipline imposed upon a player who used PEDs

I'll just get this out of the way, I was wrong about this. Looked like everything was lining up to get what they wanted. Goodell did go too far with his punishment but I thought they'd still get away with it.

Had to turn ESPN off though with Schefter bloviating so much.

Brady's suspension was far more fair than the full year suspension for Sean Payton.

Actually if he does not rule for the NFL then every arbitration case in America would be overturned and people would flood the system. The NFL has this won, they tried to give Brady a way out, the judge has tried multiple times and he did not want to do so.

I remember responding to that.

But suspend a coach for a whole year for general awareness of a "bounty program".

I can't recall, why didn't Payton challenge like Brady did?

And that was the opinion of some experts not mine, but hey I said it and watch to see if the courts do not get flooded.

Worth noting: NFL hand-picked Judge Berman to confirm its case. NFLPA wanted Judge Doty in Minnesota. Backfired.
