Where does Stockton rank all time among PGs?

Where does Bird rank all time among SFs?

Prove it. And you better not try to use facts like they played against each other or were both on the Dream Team.

Bird and Magic were the two best players of their generation. The baton was then passed to Jordan, the same cannot be said for Stockton. I am 44 and this is right in my time frame, I can't believe you actually saw both players in their prime and have come to this conclusion.

Stockton was great, but come on--this site is mostly LSU, how about the Pistol & even the great Bob Pettit?

One can actually make a strong case for many--Stockton, Larry Bird, George Mikan, Havlichek, Cousy, probably missed a few. It's often tough to compare players from different eras.

This may have to be revisited every few years, with all the European players like Dirk N. having great NBA careers also.
