I dont see the problem with Coach K's pitch...maybe Cal should have gone to a more prestigious university so he could sell the same thing? 
Sounds like he's jealous he doesn't have the elites that Duke has.
Is he actually mad that he cant sell academics or something? Since when did anything else matter to him? He's been sleeze and now that isnt even working.

This is a dumbass argument. This is just two different recruiting styles, which are effective depending on the player. Both teams have different approaches and both teams are successful. Why so much mutual envy is beyond me.

Call is recruiting players that have no desire to attend college classes. He is honest about him using the players and the players using the school.

So, none of this is true at all. Go look at the classroom attendance requirements, and aside from one player, UK has a stellar record. Please research before posting stupid comments that have no merit.
UK and Duke do recruit the same players, and you have seen it go both directions since Cal has been at UK.

Why do college fans care about draft picks and using that to compare? Yes, it makes the school look better and helps in recruiting, but while I'm incredibly passionate about college hoops and UW in particular, I give zero fricks about the NBA.

Okafor is taking classes, promised his deceased mother he would get a degree. Fans seemingly rooting for these guys not to take their education seriously is very odd.
