There is a high bust potential amoung McCoy, Bradford, and Tebow but I think Clausen will pan out. And I hate Notre Dame.

why would Clausen be a bust? He has no major flaws except for his footwork and even that isn't terrible.

the stats say differently, minus completion %. I think it's 62-59, Clausen, but ypg, td's, int's, and wins quinn was better. and we've seen what he's done......ohhh that's right.

Clausen has amuch stronger arm and is more accurate. I do think Quinn will be succesful in the west coast that Holmgren is installing.

if i remember correctly weiss was telling everyone that if he had ever seen a nfl quarterback it was brady quinn......lulz.

Based on what?
The kid is a pure loser. With all the scrubs ND lost to, despite clearly superior talent, I can only put it on Clausen.
He will be a HUGE bust in the NFL. I haven't seen ANYTHING that would indicate otherwise. Hell, ND hadn't lost to Navy since Roger Freakin Staubach was the quarterback in the early '60s. But, Clausen managed to drop 2 of 3 to the Midshipman.
I'm sorry but any QB for N.D. who doesn't have a winning record against Navy should just hang 'em up.

Those losses were pretty much exclusively the fault of NDs incredibly bad defense

Clausen is better than Quinn. Clausen is far more accurate and has great fundamentals. He has good arm strength and pretty good size.
In fact, I think his accuracy is better than anyone's in this draft. ND threw the ball down the field a lot, and a lot of deep outs.
I have questions about how good of a leader Clausen is, and his intangibles and desire to be great. Not saying he doesn't have it, but it's always hard to put your finger on that. Those intangibles and accuracy are what make NFL qbs great.
He also needs to work more on moving around in the pocket and sensing where the pressure is coming from.

And when they did, Clausen was basically just throwing moon balls and letting Tate and Floyd make plays. That wont work in the NFL

I don't think so.
I watched way too many N.D. games over the last three years where he just sucked - especially in crunch time.
He's a LOSER.
