Michigan football is two weeks away from its satellite camp tour, which apparently begins June 2 in Macon, Ga. But scheduling has become an uphill battle with some schools trying to keep the Wolverines away.

U-M coach Jim Harbaugh spoke to SI.com about how Michigan was disinvited from its scheduled satellite camp at Tulane on June 9 and denied an opportunity for a camp in North Texas.

In New Orleans, LSU conveniently took the Wolverines' place. In North Texas - where U-M reportedly wanted to go - Oklahoma is the main school and Michigan was denied.

“It’s definitely a strategy by several football factories to prevent competitors on their turf, the kids be darned,” Harbaugh told the site.

Alternate headline: Jim Harbaugh upset other colleges react to rule changes he spearheaded to help Michigan recruit.

Why isn't he running camps for the Italian utes? Takes his team over there. Doesn't he care about their kids? Oh, he only cares about the kids in traditional recruiting hot beds. For the KIDS!

Does it matter for the kids which school hosts these camps?

Its not like there would be any additional resources for the kids if it was Michigan instead of LSU.

I see he doesn't like it when others punch back. It's ok when he's the one pushing the edge but when those he's targeting push back he whines.

frick this guy. I hope Michigan gets the brakes beat off of them by Ohio State and Michigan State every year until he slinks back to the NFL as an assistant coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

If i was from Michigan, NOLA is about the last place I'd want to be in June.

If I was from anywhere NOLA would be the last place I want to be in June. It's been statistically proven that more murders happen during the summer

Why would Tulane give a shite unles LSU and Bama or hell, the SEC commish is paying them bucks big bucks to keep Michigan out of Louisiana.

Tulane and Michigan are a million miles apart in football terms.

(there's a story behind this. Is that an NCAA violation for other schools to pay other schools or a conference to pay non-member schools to not allow freedom of travel or residence in the South?)
