I doubt the NFL will be that hesitant about the Jeremy Hill off the field issues.

The field was better when Iowa plays LSU than it was against Ohio State. It's all about the footing.

Uhh, no he didn't.

And he was never charged.

AND he was suspended anyway.

Hill is better. He's more agile and has better balance.

I really love threads like these because you people act like you've watch enough film on both of these guys to make judgements like that.

It's funny.

The one guy that I actually look at for true insight on a regular basis is Lester Earl. He actually does research and watches film.

I get what youre saying.... but isnt the point of this thread to discuss Hyde vs Hill??

And werent you doing the same thing that everyone else was doing??

If I recall, I was only showing what Hyde did this year. I haven't seen enough of Hill to make that comparison.

Maybe I did, but that wasn't my intent.

People are discounting Hyde in this thread IMO though.

Including their stats against each other doesn't really make sense when comparing common opponents.

Some people are.

I think hes a good back and will have a solid NFL career. But i do think Hill is better. Not discounting Hyde at all. They are fairly similar backs. Just think that Hill is faster with better vision, and a legit 6'2.

Both are top 5 backs in this draft though. No doubt about that.

Hyde will run a faster time in Indy IMO.

And height is not a major factor for RBs at all, some argue it's better to be lower to the ground.

However anyone that watches these 2 guys on film, you see 2 guys about the same size. Hyde is a straight ahead guy, where as Hill has more shift. He's a more fluid runner. I think that is why he goes ahead of Hyde, who is more of a mid to late round talent

This is why I think Hyde will be the better pro. Maybe Hill will fix those issues though.

I dont think its an issue. It's more of an Arian Foster type running style. Wait for the hole then explode.

Hyde is kind of one gear, straight ahead.

It's gonna be close either way, 4.5-4.6

They will both go in the late 2nd, early 3rd.

Yeah... Running under a 4.6 for those 2 big backs will be great times and should improve / solidify their draft spots.
