Mason and Carey are the only 2 that could possibly go ahead of Hill. And hes in that same category as they are. They are the top 3 RBs in the draft.

Yea some mocks have them going ahead, and others have Hill as the top RB in the draft. Doesnt mean anything. Just gotta wait and see what happens draft day.

Did those rankings pick Gio Bernard to go first last year?

If they were on the same team with all the same factors then I would go with hill but you never know what the offense and oline will be where they get drafted.

Whichever one ends up on a team with a very good offensive line will be the best.

I would guess that these teams will be looking at RBs in this draft

Tampa bay
Giants
Browns
Jaguars
Ravens
Dolphins
Cardinals
Rams
Panthers
Falcons

Etc........

If you could provide me some rankings that have Hill ahead of all of those guys, that would be great.

Regardless of what rankings say, Hill, Mason, and Carey are the top 3 RBs in the draft this year.

Why would anyone take a guy like Hill in the first when you can get Antonio Andrews in the 5th?

Hyde averages 2.2 yards more per carry in his senior season than Pittman.

Pittman was never a power and speed guy. Just speed. He went down on first contact.

Happy dipshit?

Gil Brandt's rankings after Hill declared:

quote:

My updated top five running backs in the draft: 1. Jeremy Hill, LSU 2. Ka'Deem Carey, Arizona 2A. Tre Mason, Auburn 4. Bishop Sankey, Washington 5. Carlos Hyde, Ohio State

Eta: also projects Hill as a first rounder:

Good find. Haven't seen that one. All of the ones I saw either didn't have him listed yet since he just declare, or he was ranked behind the guys I mentioned.

Yeah and a lot of the mock drafts that havent been updated in the past few days dont even have Hill on there because a sophomore and they dont do the research to find out that hes a draft eligible sophomore.

True. It will be interesting to see the rankings now and see how they change after all of the combines and interviews.

You're right, but NFL GMs felt that guys like Ingram and Richardson were worth two first round picks each

No one is picking a RB in the first round unless it's the last 5 picks. I think GMs have finally learned about RBs not named Adrian Peterson.

So the last five picks of the first round don't count as first round?

Drafting a RB in the first round is a pretty terrible move. I don't think that's very debatable.
