This is basically addition by subtraction on the Braves part, and its a cliche that gets tossed around a ton but maybe a change of scenery will benefit both players

Guess we'll see what to make of it pretty soon. I just find it weird that we make a trade with a division foe with about the same record as us and its only player for player, but welcome Mr. Church

I love Frenchy, but my patience had long since run out with him. I think this will be a good deal for us in the long run. Even though he comes from the team I consider to be the embodiment of all that is evil, welcome to Atlanta, Ryan.

Frenchy may have a better arm but he is awkward as shite out there in the field IMO. A lot of the routine stuff hit his way you cringe because of the routes he takes and how he positions himself under the ball. I may be totally wrong in saying this because it is my opinion but I think Church could be a defensive upgrade

I despise the Mets but I wouldn't say it was a terrible one for them. Frenchy is 5 years younger and if he can get his shite together he hasn't even begun to hit his prime yet. They get a solid OF with a cannon for an arm plus a guy, even with him sucking balls, has more pop and produces more runs than Church. Although now with the Mets I have no choice but to hope he continues with the suck.
