What? His rating was 82.8 (and he was much worse than that watching the games. It was good for 19th in the league and well below Brady (111.0) and Rodgers (101.2). FWIW, it was also lower than Jason Campbell's (84.5).

On top of this, his arm is shot and he has never been a very good decision maker.

My bad. that was yards. I looked at NFL.com stats and the default was set to yards. I digress. I still think this OAK team has a lot more talent then CIN has had the last couple yards.

The fact that you didnt see that an know that it is bullshite just digs your idiot grave even deeper.

But hey a guy that threw 20 interceptions definitly sounds Like someone that id give up 2 first rounders for

BTW why was the price so high? The Bengals reportly were asking for one 1st rd pick before the season and there were no takers, so apparently the Raiders outbid themselves

I agree but that doesn't make this a decent trade. People always point to his knee injury as the turning point for Palmer's career, but it is really the elbow injury in '08. He didn't get surgery (and it might not have worked regardless), but his arm has been shot since then. This trade will be a disaster for OAK.

I guess Al's son is as dumb as he was.

Last year the Raiders weren't willing to give up ONE first rounder for Big Ben but they'll trade two for Cartoon Palmer?

Nope. Brown was vindictive and was NOT going to trade Palmer but make him sit out the season as punishment and then get what he could just before next year's draft.

The Raiders had to dangle so much in front of Brown to curb his spite.
