I hate being a Raiders fan.

Palmer was done in Cincy and hasn't done squat for a year. Raiders were building something.

This is dumb.

TBH, I really could see him doing better than he did in cincy towards the end of his career there.

It seems amazing what a team/coach can do when they don't have the distractions that Carson Palmer had.

As a cincy fan, besides this trade, I feel your pain.

isn't it only a first rounder if they win a playoff game? or that is only for the 2nd first rounder?

this is nuts..

I guess this is the Raiders way of pouring a little out for Al Davis...

Cleveland should go after him. Seriously. He's the best backup in the league. He could legitimately be a good starter in the league.

So it's a 2012 first round pick gauranteed, and a 2012 first round pick if the Raiders win a playoff game this year, if not it gets moved to a 2nd round pick.

So at worst it's a 1st and 2nd round pick.

Mike fricking Brown.

But let's not get carried away, he still is Mike Brown.

Heyward-Bey hasn't been bad this year.

So it has nothing to do with Palmer's performance? Theoretically, he could tear his ACL the first game or he could play terribly and ride McFadden the whole way and win a playoff game and it still turn into two first-round picks? Absolutely incredible.

Lulz at people laughing at OAK draft strategy. R U just figuring out that they don't know what they're doing there? Its such a crap-shoot anyway.

I know Palmer has some weapons though; McFadden, Ford, Moore. Even Heyward-Bey has looked good the last THREE games. Could be interesting.

Well of course everyone knows that they don't know what they are doing, but this is on a whole different level.

Color this Raiderfan happy.

Carson Palmer was demoralized in Cincy and with Ocho around. He still has some good years left in him.

Raiders are back..gonna give SD fits.

Well Ocho was bad, T.O. had a pretty reliable season, and they also had ZERO run game.

Not sure how you expect him to excel. Not going to say he was the best QB or anything, but you have to at least consider his situation.
