The SEC needs to lose one of those big 10 games and pick one up with the Pac 12

The games can't conflict with the BCS games. So what time in the morning would you like to start a game? Cotton tried a 10 am start time that didn't go over very well years ago.

are we technically calling teh Baylor/UCF Fiesta Bowl a BCS bowl this year?

I'm sure it would be a real travesty if there were alternatives to watching that crap

Last year, I had the TV, my dad's laptop, and my laptop with an extra monitor hooked up to watch all the bowl games on New Years Day.

Only left my spot on the couch to pee. Mom kept bringing in different snacks and food.

I love going home.

The only thing I dislike about the New Year's Day bowls are the same matchups year after year. I swear I've seen UGA/Michigan St. 8 times.

The Big Ten sucks, the Pac 12 is much better...UGA/UCLA, Bama/USC, Washington/Ole Miss, LSU/Arizona St.....there are some potentially cool matchups between the SEC and Pac 12. Shame the two conferences don't play each other that often.

Its terrible now, but starting next year New Years day is going to be pretty freaking awesome.

I think the playoff is going to be a dumpster-fire overall, but having those semi-finals back to back on NYD is going to be pretty damn nice.

Won't be the Outback. That bowl just extended their contracts with both the SEC and Big 10 through the 2020 game.

I think the B1G/SEC should never have gotten into the gator. The Cap 1 and Outback are fine, but with the Gator it's too much.

This. Basically it is often the same teams in the mix for both sides. LSU/UGA/USC/UF/AU for the SEC and Mich/Wisky/Iowa/MSU/PSU for the B1G. Only so many matchups you can have in those 3 games. OSU/Bama play in them every once in a while as do some others

severly limit? It seems like if they are all on at the same time on three different channels that would insure that everyone watching a bowl game on tv is watching at least one SEC team. Seems like a good idea.

Remember when it seemed all bowl games were on New Years. Still, because I love SEC and like to watch games as though I am breaking down film, it is kinda lame.
