why aren't you bragging about more relevant data pertaining to this season being mocked?

at this juncture of the basketball season, referring to last season is moot.

Talk about this year when making your case for the man.

This season isn't over yet chaddy so I'd like to refrain from using stats to date if possible. The post I responded toosaid he hasn't played defense since getting elbowed by World Peace last year was clearly after that.

No it's not mute you can't throw away what he did last season.

#1 in DWS of any guard in the league proves that his D is pretty legit when you look at the whole picture..and not cherry pick plays when he's in foul trouble.

Ahh how about 30 second half points. Lead team to come back victory over a team whom had won 12 straight at home. Second game of road back to back.

ah. i gotcha boomy. i just thought you wanted to ignore this season's stats because they don't support the same results as last year's stats may have indicated shocky. We'll just revisit his numbers at year's end locky.

So Harden's D is legit, you've already said you'd take Ariza/Howard/Bev to stop the Warriors, so that's 3 more HOU players that play legit D.

And yet HOU is the 24th ranked defense in the NBA...

It most certainly is. A lot changes over a year, Harden came into camp overweight and friend zoned by a Kardashian.

Before last season, he was in great shape physically and mentally thanks to Team USA and extra motivation (referenced in Foot Locker ads) about being a poor defender and had the season of his life.

Before that? Known as a lazy defender.

So in reality one can make a stronger case for Harden regressing to the mean as far as defensive effort.

FWIW,Houston needs Thibs or JVG to get the most out of Harden...and needs to start watching his minutes.

I'd say Harden gets about as much out of himself as possible how many players in the history of the NBA have averaged:

29pts
7ass
6reb

Go ahead and name them out.

Don't argue with em, Boom.
2 games behind Dallas for the 6th seed. This is what we need more than anything.

Roberston
Jordan
James

So only 3 players have done what he's about to do yet somehow you're convinced someone is not getting the most out of him. FWIW I would love to have either of those coaches next season but Harden is already about as good as it gets in today's NBA.
