Yeah, but Drew Brees somehow managed to pull off the trifecta. First, he pissed off black people. Then, he pissed off white people. And finally, he pushed all of his chips to the middle of the table and tried to become a politically-correct white guy.

Saints should sign Dak in the offseason. Him under the tutelage of Payton would be dynamic. He would legit give the Saints a chance to win a superbowl.

Its time he didnt a complete a pass over 20 yards on the air in a professional football game. My sons 11/12 flag football team is letting it rip come on.
I love drew brees the football player for what hes accomplished and his transformation of this organization, but the truth is his arm strength was in sharp decline last season and it only getting worse. Take that and combine it with his spineless actions and getting cuckold by his teammates and yes his path has seem to run its course.

Brees needs to retire and give his life to his true love, Jacob Blake. He can forego everything and serve as his heroes' rehab nurse.

You just hate to see politically ate up Aints fans shite on their own, especially the guy that delivered their miserable franchise a Super Bowl win.

You all are a sad, sorry arse lot.

The funny thing is Brees' critics immediately moved on & weren't nearly as mean spirited as his so called fans. Months later his fans are still attacking Brees & his wife.

While I'm not a fan on how his fans are treating it, his teammates called him a racist, as did a lot of people in NOLA where he just dropped massive amounts of money for Covid. That seems pretty damn mean spirited.

Because he caved to their demands of him. It's such a ridiculous statement to claim that saying he should retire because he can't do his job as well as he used to is more mean spirited than violence threats, being called the R word, or outright demanding the end of his career on national TV.

yeah. you would think he wore that helmet sticker by himself during an actual game or something the way they talk about it.

no, he wore a helmet sticker that the rest of the team decided to wear during ONE PRACTICE. good lord, i dont agree with it but i could care less. who would wanna isolate themselves from the whole team over something as trivial as putting a sticker on your helmet during a team practice?

Brees is washed tho, the arm strength has been dwindling and without Thomas NFL defenses are gonna put the clamps down. should've kept handing the ball to Kamara in the 2nd half rather than throwing ourselves into a loss. the outside run was working the entire first half.

we aren't super bowl contenders this year with Brees at the helm

Yeah, you can tell....he wanted to throw downfield about 4 or 5 times last night and he held it...you get the sense he knew he could not make the throw.

Not sure I completely agree. The checkdowns are to Kamara in most cases who leads the league in yards after catch and broken tackles if I recall the stat they mentioned yesterday.

I do think he’s lost arm strength, but I don’t think a lot of the checkdowns are because he’s scared to toss it up. I think it’s just the easier play.

Saints bigger issue is penalties and needed MT back. Penalties mostly though. 24 in 3 games I believe.

He looks like Uncle Rico out in the field with his van and camera with all that overzealous footwork only to have to crow hop to dump it off to Kamara.

Sad reality but they’d probably be better off with Jamies.

You could tell the defense didn't believe he could drive the ball downfield.

But he's lucky that the league became a dink and dunk league years ago...and that deep 20 yard outs are a relic from the 80's/90's.

It let Manning, Brady and now Brees seemingly play forever...dinking and dunking.

Coaches have gotten smarter and realized that those deep outs you're clamoring for are more dangerous and inefficient passes.

His arm is weaker, but I still think the saints will be fine. Beat Detroit next week and they're 2-2, and Thomas likely to be back for week 5.

yes...there's nothing wrong with drives where the QB goes 3 for 3, but you're still at 4th & 5
