It is what is is: CFB is Bama until either saban retires or infractions occur

There is no "one" player that is the difference between wins and losses for them. Every unit has 5 stars waiting in the background.
Saban retirement followed by a bad coaching hire or ncaa infractions are the only things that can do it.
The type of team that can beat them are rare and only show up once max on their schedule each year. (not saying they don't play good teams, only that the good teams they play mostly have a style similar to alabama but lesser talented)
If one unit shits the bed during a game, another unit has a world-beater performance to make up for it.

The only thing giving me hope is I remember thinking the same thing about Miami 15 years ago and USC 10 years ago. Their recruiting was so incredible, just like Bama

They're at the point where a loss to anyone not named Ohio State in the next few years will require significant underachieving. They're that much more talented than everyone else in CFB.

Good point.
Some will say they're just well disciplined or whatever, but the fact of the matter is they're just so talented that they have no motivation to do anything outside of the box. They're boring because being boring with their talent wins a frick ton of football games.
