Is Zaza Pachulia going to need armed security for games 3/4 in San Antonio?

People who think Zaza did it on purpose are giving him too much credit

Not really. Everyone seen Kawhi injure his ankle a few plays prior to when Zaza stepped under him. He knew what he was doing and it worked.

I mean...if you're saying he crowded him in an attempt to make him less sure of his shot because of his landing spot, yeah...sure. If you're saying he stuck his foot out to ensure he'd land on it and twist his ankle, nah. I'm not seeing that.

I was actually surprised so many people were taking that view. My take was he just shifted towards him underneath to throw off the shot low rather than going up at it. Total fluke he came down on his foot. shite like that can happen at any time.

Flying churros are too humane. I hope he gets relegated to cleaning up defecation by a terrorist from his native homeland, after his deportation.

It's pretty dirty to stick a leg out under a jump shot.

Nah, it happens all the time.

Zaza wasnt even looking at him or his foot. He was focused on blocking out and possible rebound.

This is b.s.
Hmmm.
Maybe san sntonio fan will buy this paranoia and sorrow and do the crazy.

Photo shows him in act of palming. Illegal dribble.

Worse case is photo of lsu player who is transferring. His pic shows clear palm.

Pathetic

Watch the whole quarter. I'm obviously not going to convince you otherwise. People are looking at that play in a vacuum when it deserves context.

I mean there isn't a "my take" on his movements, you see exactly what happened on a replay

You're 0/2 today. This doesn't happen all the time, it's illegal in the NBA so that it doesn't happen all the time.

i dislike the warriors, and think zaza and draymond are 2 of the biggest POS's in the league. i didn't catch the incident live, but my friends were texting back n forth about how it was a really dirty play, so i assumed zaza did something blatantly obvious.

maybe im missing something, but i saw a 7 foot guy run to close out on a jump shooter, and he just couldnt fully stop himself short of where kawhi was landing.

He didn't stick his leg under him in a dirty way. He clearly turned and was looking for the rebound/shot when Leonard actually landed

Spurs fans of all people should know this wasn't on purpose. They cheered for the king of of dirty play and sticking feet under people

Not sure what you're getting at. I know Leonard had already twisted his ankle...when he stepped on his own team mates foot that was too far on the court. Like I said, sometimes feet get tangled.

That's my point...I don't see some guy sticking his foot out to trip a guy or to cause a sprained ankle. I see a guy closing the gap a bit with his lower half to cause Leonard to tighten up a bit (I say this as a guy who would occasionally make a darting movement at a shooters legs as they would go up if I couldn't get into position to block the shot because that little bit of movement would sometimes cause them to tighten their lower half and miss) only he did it with his legs. 90% of the time Leonard comes down, misses his foot entirely and goes on about his day. If he goal was to get his to twist his ankle, an actual foul where you'd know he land awkwardly would have been far more effective than what he did.
