Has there been a bowl game that has sold out, yet?
Other than the Rose, all the bowls have been pretty terrible on attendance.

I have seen about equal numbers of FSU fans and AU fans who have made the trip.
from my experience so far it's like 10-1 Auburn fans out here, I'm seeing them everywhere. I think I may have seen one FSU couple

FSU fans seem to be staying in Vegas and heading over to LA today and AU fans seem to be staying in LA the whole time.
Auburn fans in Vegas say they're about even.

FSU fans are very spread out. Although I do think Auburn will have more fans, but definitely not as significant of a gap as some here think.
I also think it's hilarious that this is the type of shite Auburn fans dwell over. Must blow living in Alabama.

I actually think it could have some empty seats. I don't think this game has as much allure as the real Rose Bowl game either.
Sure, two traditional powers with exciting brands of football playing for the title isn't as interesting as Stanford-MSU playing for 3-4th place. God there is a lot of stupidity on this site.

Tell me more about the ghetto paradise of Tallahassee.

Yes, because most FSU fans live in Tallahassee. You got me there.

I'm in Los Angeles right now...
Drove up to Westwood two days ago for some errands...
Auburn gear is out and about.
Haven't seen any FSU stuff.

Your boy Archie has been the one that refuses to acknowledge FSU might be outnumbered. He claims Auburn fans blew their wad on traveling to ATL. ATL is like a two hour drive from Auburn, and ATL is also one of the biggest alumni bases for AU. Highly doubt they spent too much for a simple day trip.

And all Auburn fans live in rural Alabama.

I live in Santa Monica, a few blocks from the promenade, and I've been shocked to see FSU fans vastly outnumbering Auburn fans. I'm sure AU fans will out number FSU fans at the game, but stil surprising. Seen a couple FSU flags at some bars, no AU flags. Maybe AU fans are staying in Pasadena? If they are they are missing out.
70 degrees at the beach, clear skies, no wind. Just need a jump in swell and life would be perfect.

I doubt Archie is serious.

Too much is relative. A day trip probably meant a lot to those paycheck to paycheck barners. Not to mention, they knew that their luck would only get them so far; so, go all out to celebrate winning the SEC. No sense in traveling 2,000 miles to watch a 9 point dog.
But I hope some make it to the game because we could use some more reaction gifs of Alabama residents. The Sugar bowl ones were pretty good.

Saw a few of each at LAX on my way out (although I left LA on the 2nd).

It's the sign of the times. People just aren't traveling to bowl games like they used to. And that goes for all schools. I've seen a number of posts on here attacking certain schools for the # of tickets they have returned and then the number of empty seats in certain games and comments made about that bowl screwing up with the matchup selection. It doesn't matter who the bowl would have selected. Odds are the bowl still would have had a ton of empty seats.
ESPN did a segment this morning on the NFL having to do the blackout extensions this week because of the home playoff team snot selling out. Buf for corporations buying the remaining tickets, blackouts would have been in place for some home playoff teams. As the ESPN guy noted, fans are staying home, watching the games in the comfort of their big huge flat screen and saving the $100's that it costs to attend these football games. So this is happening not just in college, but in the NFL too.
