This is the first game in a while I'm not making sure I watch.

Wah? Most anticipated since 2010 IMO.
2011 was retarded that Bama played and 2012 was just boring.

Prices for the championship game are so high that only fans of the two teams will really attend. Especially when you add the cost of travel.

Combine that with two teams with smaller fanbases and the biggest bcs stadium.

I bet the tv ratings aren't too far off normal.

If FSU fans would travel tickets would be gone/higher. Auburn will have 50K there...minimum.

I'd say the ou/LSU game in 03 was pretty bad as ou had just lost their last game. Auburn isn't perceived as being the 2nd best team in the country so most are expecting a blowout.

I think Auburn fans are the ones not traveling. Auburn fans blew their paycheck on going to the SEC championship game because they knew they had a chance to win that one and they could afford to drive there instead of having to buy a plane ticket.

You're way off base. Every report from anyone out in California is that the FSU fans are way outnumbered.

Auburn will outnumber fsu fans by a very large majority.

Easily the LSU/Bama rematch was the least anticipated.

This. You know it's bad when one of the teams doesn't bother to show up.

Way wrong. Been in San Diego last few days before heading up, and FSU fans are few and far between. Solid AU contingent, even this far south.

So what? I know plenty of FSU fans staying in Las Vegas.

Look you barners spent your wad on driving to Atlanta to see your team get some hardware. That's great. But no way are Auburn fans scratching up change to buy a plane ticket to California, a hotel room, and a ticket to watch a 9 point dog.

FSU fans on the other hand, didn't have to travel to watch their team beat Duke. Everybody knew we were going to the ship.

Michigan State sent 60,000 to the Rose Bowl according to most estimates. Let's see if Auburn sends 60,000. I doubt it.

You have to be a damn moron to think FSU will have more fans there than Auburn.

Your fans don't support your program as much as Auburn supports theirs.

You will never see Jordan Hare Stadium this empty 10 minutes before kickoff against a conference opponent.

People will watch this game because they want to see the SEC go down and they think this is their best chance of seeing it.

I can't say who will have more fans in the stadium, but as a Tallahassee native who lives in Alabama, I have seen about equal numbers of FSU fans and AU fans who have made the trip.

FSU fans seem to be staying in Vegas and heading over to LA today and AU fans seem to be staying in LA the whole time.

I'm ready for it to be over - not because I'm jealous Alabama isn't there - I'm sick of seeing all those frickers in warm weather while it is colder than frozen over hell here.
