I would say the UFC is more popular. The really big fights of the UFC has greater pre event hype. The actual fights has media coverage that is unseen in MLS.

To be fair. I could not even name one team in MLS and have never seen a game. Maybe someone with more knowledge can debate it in favor for MLS.

Which one is more popular in the United States: UFC or MLS?

UFC, but soccer as a whole is far more popular than UFC in the US. MLS has a long way to go.

Hasn't the popularity of UFC actually gone down quite a bit in the last few years? It's still a lot more popular than MLS though. At least the UFC has a few household names. How many people can even name a MLS player not named Landon Donovan?

There's a chick fight that's happening Saturday supposed to have massive ratings.

Hard to say but I know for me it's really fallen off. I liked it up until they started watering it down by having events every week, adding women's divisions and fighters started pulling a GSP and just started laying on their opponents for 15-25 minutes and not fighting.

I couldn't name a single UFC fighter. Nor do I know the difference between UFC and MMA. I guess it just depends on who you ask though.

This. And don't UFC events only happen like once every couple months?

There are typically 2 UFC cards a month not counting "The Ultimate Fighter" tv show which airs 1 prerecorded fight a week for 12 weeks.

It's just as plausible as being unable to name one MLS team.

Off the top of my head I can only think of Ronda Rousey myself and that's because I've seen her name on MSB.

ETA: I think there's a guy named Rampage Jackson too.

I don't watch either, but I would watch MLS before a UFC fight.
