Back to my point though, you dont think the Cubs could win the NL East and the Pirates couldnt win the NL West? The AL isnt very good this year so Im not even going to go there.

lol way to change your argument when you realized you were wrong.

They have the third best run differential in baseball. To say they wouldn't have a chance is way too extreme.

Just wasn't our weekend. I'm sure we'll get to repay you for beating the giants next time we play them

I don't know about the AL, but between the cards, pirates and cubs you have 3 of the top 4 teams in the NL right there, with the 4th, in no particular order, being the dodgers.

I didn't read the whole thread....but I can imagine that it probably turned into a Cardinals jack-off fest.

i'd bet against the cards this year, things are going too well. they don't make it to series

Depending on the match up, but i think Cards could be an easy 1 and done.

Not addressing the 1b position will come back to hurt them. This is still a mediocre offense, and Moss is fricking horrible. It reminds me of team that lost to Red Sox, the offense flattened out and had nothing on bench to give them a spark.

Hope i'm wrong, but that offense will come back to bite them, and it will all be on Mo.

The Giants aren't that good and the Dodgers are only good 2 out of every 5. The Cards are the best team in baseball with the Cubs and Pirates securely in the top 5. The answer to the OP is yes.

2 out of every 5 can turn into 2 out of 3 or 4 in the postseason though. And that's all you need. And it literally doesn't get better than Greinke/kershaw

I still think the Dodgers are the best team in baseball. If you look strictly at wOBA and wOBA allowed, they have been better than the Cardinals. The Cardinals have had amazing cluster luck. Their pitching with runners on has been unbelievable, but that typically isn't a sustainable skill.

What do you know about baseball? You are a Cardinals homer and a baseball dinosaur.

The Dodgers have a 4 game better baseruns record than the Cardinals. And before you laugh, baseruns records have a much better correlation with future performance than actual win-loss records.

Sadly, you never display all that knowledge.
