yeah, I know all about it.
its basically the same way at South Alabama. It was a lot worse when I was a student there because we didn't even have a football team yet.
i'm not really a big basketball fan but I'd go to some games when I was a student and usually there weren't many people there.
it seems like the student support is better now because of football but I'm not as sure with basketball.
but there are also more students at South now compared to when I was there.

Instead of trying to kill UAB, they ought to subsidize them. What more does UA have to prove in college football? They can win national championships with regularity. We know that.
Now, show that you can create a G5 power. Let them build their 30K stadium, give them 15 mill a year for 5 years (out of your football revenues) and see what happens.
