Yes, though you put Daytona on the list and not the World Cup, which is #2. I'd rather watch the world cricket championship than anything NASCAR related.

I'm 31 and when I was growing up that Thursday and Friday of the first round couldn't be beat. Even in my early and mid 20s I would take off work those two days to drink/gamble/watch. I still enjoy it but there's no doubt the game has gone downhill the last few years

The "One and Done" crowd has really ruined CBB for me. And by extension March Madness. I miss the concept of the best teams in the tournament style, now it feels like who has the most NBA talent. The regular season means absolutely nothing. It was up there but I think it has gone down since. Just my 2 cents.

Other than the year the Saints were in it I never care about the Super Bowl. Opening weekend for the NCAA tournament is way more exciting

Masters weekend is great, and I always love the US Open

March Madness is not really an "event", it's 3 weeks of "events", but I get your point.
For me it's probably only 2nd to the Super Bowl.

The first four days (excluding the new play-in games) are the greatest FOUR days in sports. Once it gets to the Sweet 16 it's still good, but not the greatest.

World Cup > NCAA Tournament > Masters
Unfair to compare one game scenarios like SB to tournaments. And most college bowl games blow, don't know what you've been watching.

It has everything you want in sports and it so fricking fun to watch all day.

It is still great, but not what it used to be. I would recommend to those of you who like it to book a trip to Vegas for the first weekend of the tourney. It is absolutely awesome. If you want to see "fans" really pulling for their teams, hang out at the sportsbooks. Sometimes they they are rocking louder than the stadiums.

Negative, probably the most boring regular season in sports there is and it's just a little more exciting in the tourney. I'd rather watch the two worst MLS teams than that garbage.

I was in Canada during World Cup 2010, and there was a British ship and German ship docked on the same pier. Watching the England/Germany knockout game with those people completely changed my perspective on the World Cup.

Depends on what audience you are considering, US only or world event? World event is World Cup and nothing else is close. In US, probably Super Bowl followed by MM.

Agreed with your top two.

To round my top 3 I would put Stanley Cup Playoffs.

I remember when arkansas used to be good and college bball in general was better the first 4 days of the tourney were pretty much my favorite 4 days of the year. I never left the tv.
