Yesterday I was listening to Colin Cowherd and a fan called the show. The fan brought up the fact that Lebron James is 2-4 and will probably be 2-5 in championship game series's and that he is not clutch when it matters the most. This immediately sent Colin into a rage as he was defending Lebron with some non sense logic about Tom Brady's Super Bowl record could have been different if he lost some of the close games. Colin then was non stop complaining about the caller and said he was the dumbest caller of all time. Colin truly acted like his feelings were hurt. He seems super sensitive towards any Lebron James criticism. What is his deal?

CCs run with the Blazing 5 was amazing a few years ago

hes like all the other guys on this board who are all over lebrons nuts but the reality is winners win when it matters. Steph curry game 7 WCF performance was what its all about. Lebron puts up all the numbers in the world but yet he is 2-4 in the finals, safe to say he's james harden when it comes to the games that matter and all the stats in the world mean nothing.

Ya see, Lebron is the Apple Watch, ahead of his time but you can tell the time. He's like a robber baron from the turn of the century, bringing industry back to Cleveland. You Kansas and Oklahoma people don't get it, "y'all got raccoons in there?!" Lebron is a Rolex, timeless.

Someone has to play devil's advocate. I'd argue those defending LeBron are more objective than those criticizing him.

False

will probably be 2-5 in championship game series's

Not sure how people are definitively saying this before the the finals even start. Lest we all of a sudden forget GS was down 3-1. It's not unreasonable to think the Cavs actually win the series.

He's made 6 straight finals (7 total) and in his first appearance, he literally dragged a below average roster into the series.

So yeah, that caller is an idiot parroting the same non-sense most LeBron criticizers rattle off.

I was watching CC. That way you get to see Kristine Leahy.

That caller was an idiot. CC also criticized Bron for the loss to the Mavs when the Heat were a better team. CC was dick riding Lebron to bring that idiot caller back to reality.

Well it is retarded logic.

Jerry West's Finals percentage was worse and he's the damn logo. Wilt won two championships and he's considered to be top 5 all time. It was only after MJ did what he did that the standard of winning every single Finals and the whole concept of ring counting to gauge a player's worth became a thing.

CC is a huge LeBron dick rider. His point about LeBron finals record is that while his record isn't as good as MJ, he has lost less in rounds before the finals much less often. Would you rather lose in the conference finals or NBA finals? If your LeBron it's more likely to be NBA while if your Jordans loser ads it's probably round 1 or 2

He definitely deserves criticism for that series. They should have easily won.

That's the thing I like about CC (other than he likes to play devil's advocate a lot). He preaches hard about "not being prisoner of the moment" and not being over-reactionary.

Incredible run by GS to come back against OKC. But they were in fact down 3-1 at one point. They aren't invincible and they are certainly beatable.

This is still not tempting enough for me to replace my sig quote.
