Jerry West's Finals percentage was worse and he's the damn logo. Wilt won two championships and he's considered to be top 5 all time. It was only after MJ did what he did that the standard of winning every single Finals and the whole concept of ring counting to gauge a player's worth became a thing.

Colin used the Jerry West logic too. You must have listed to the episode.

Well stated. I simply wish LeBron didn't have 2011 on his resume. 95% of the criticism he gets is unwarranted, but that series was inexplicable. A win this year would go a long way towards putting that in the past for many people.

Is using logic to defend against an asinine take really indicative of someone who is LeBron's biggest fan?

There are plenty of people on this board who despise LeBron but they can see through the dumb argument that losing before the Finals is better than losing in the Finals.

I was gonna use the same logic and I haven't listened to Cowherd in quite some time. I was gonna throw in Wilt Chamberlain being 2-4 (Guess he wasn't good enough to get his team to the finals as often as Lebron ).

I was going to use that logic because it's, what do you call it, oh yeah, logical. Something rabid fans and rabid haters generally lack.

I seem to remember a player putting up 37/12/4 on 52% shooting in a game 7 NBA finals a long long long time ago. I think it was the year 2013 AD. His name was something like LeDon Rames or something similiar. It was so many years ago I understand why you would have forgot

lebron's been in the backseat for quite a few years. He better win it all this year if he ever wants to sit in the front seat again the rest of his life.

he literally dragged a below average roster into the series

You mean his first finals? Sure and they got swept. He's no Hakeem Olajuwon who took a roster of nobody players and won a title in 1993-1994

The rest of Lebrons finals teams have all included 2 other star players. He handpicked wade and bosh as teammates and he still went 2-2 in the finals with them. Then he felt wade was done and wanted to go back and save face in clev with kyrie and love and then lost last year and will lose again this year. So how has he had below average teams in the finals? He did one time and they got swept.

Thats awesome that he did it, why doesn't he do it more often. I guess this is why is he 2-4 in the finals then? Jordan is 6-0 in the finals. If ray allen doesn't bail them out with a miracle in game 6, lebron is 1-5 in the finals and that game 7 never happens.

Kyrie and Love played so good in last years finals. It was all Brons fault

But yet you are cool with Klays record perforamance in Game 6 and 41 points? But Rays 9 points is too much for you?

I guess if Ray Allen would've dropped 40 it would've been better?

Really I've yet to hear an explanation why that shot is a big negative for LeBron, but any other shot, hit by any other player, on any other team in history isn't a big deal.

Hakeem is a beast and that is one of the greatest runs of all time. That being said, is Hakeem a better player than LeBron all-time?

Is 2-0 better than 2-5 or 3-4?

Of course. I would much rather my team lose in the first round

Fans don't realize what an NBA player would do to have that many finals appearances.
