Same. Its like the game had no pace at any point. Everybody who played in the paint was about to foul out it seemed. Neither team could really get much momentum going, and you can add that to the fact they missed several really obvious calls.

I don't know if unc went into each game trying to make it a shitshow but basically every game they played in the tournament is what most people would say very bad basketball.

The officials were pretty terrible all tournament. I was used to it by the title game.

The refs were terrible; Gonzaga played like pure shite to open the 2nd half; UNC couldn't throw it in the ocean until late in the game and finally played good D in the 2nd half.
It was a shitty game to watch with no flow especially when the refs got whistle happy in the early to mid part of the 2nd half. It was just a disjointed game all around. It was entertaining for the last 5 until the last 11 seconds. It was college basketball ball played by two teams with no transcendent talent.

it's their style of play, with 3 big men, and long wings that are constantly attacking the basket, they force the refs to blow the whistle. it was exacerbated tonight because the zags have 3 bigs, and there was a ton of banging down low.

Collins was the best player in the arena and it was obvious by a large margin. They ref'd his arse completely out of the game early on and then finished him mortal kombat style in the second half.
I do not like either team. There is no bias here. The refs were horrible all around, but there was something to how they were ref'ing Collins. It was blatant and cheap.
How you relegate the best player on the court to some scrub arse D-leaguer is criminal.

No, its not at all. UNC is a FAST paced team, they do NOT count on officiating. You're not even close. UNC is normally top 10 in the country in scoring and has ALWAYS been known as an offensive team under Roy Williams.

If you were to ask everyone who the best player tonight was over 90% will tell you Collins.

If anything the refs were bias against UNC.. Some very awful calls went UNC's way.
