Tim Duncan is already the best 4 of all time and has been for quite a while.
He was the best player in the league from 2003-2005
To me, he's the 5th or 6th best of all time and best since Jordan. Best player on 4 championshp teams and none of those teams were loaded. Duncan gets a bad rap because he's in such a small market. Give that man some respect

Duncan is the best PF ever, no doubt. It's just hard to match up with this guy who is a centers size and is played or defended I should say by most guys 6'9 or 6'10. He dominates.

Pop,Robinson,Duncan, Parker and Ginobili have turned the Spurs franchise into the model for the NBA, much like the Celtics were in the 60s. They have become a top 5 franchise in the NBA maybe top 3.IF they win one, are they a better run franchise than the Bulls(historically)? That's crazy to even think about 15 years ago.

Not even top 5. He's a top 10 player

The 2003 team was all Timmy. Without Tim I don't think that team sniffs the 2nd round. The 05 and 07 teams were a lot better, but I wouldn't say loaded. 99 was just a weird year. Robinson was still good, they had a lot of aging players and it was a lockout year.

GOAT PF, yes. If we still consider him one.

GOAT or not is completely subjective.
However, I believe he'll be the first to win a title as a starter in three different decades if SA brings home #5.
Trying not to get ahead of myself as an excited fan, but a Larry this year would be SO sweet as a Spurs fan. Hope they can notch 5 more wins this season.

I picked the Pacers to beat the Heat based on matchups. If that happens, I think the Spurs take it. I don't think they can beat Miami though for the same reasons....matchup problems. It'll be intersting

he isn't flashy but he is still a great player even at his age
So what your asking is if he wins less championships that jordan, Bill Russell, and Kareem while putting up less point than MJ or KAJ will he be the best?
I think Tim Duncan is very good, but he is like Brady on the Patriots, it is a very good team around him with the best coach in the NBA.

Let's see:
1. LeBron
2. Shaq
3. MJ
4. Magic
Nope.

I'm inclined to agree with you for the same reasons.
