LMAO!! That's sad.

And I don't recall SMS saying anywhere that he has Army going 11-1. It's a hypothetical scenario. Kind of like your hypothetical reading level.

I don't think anyone actually believes Army can go 11-1 (including Army's football team).

It was in a near blizzard in October when Fordham beat them, I believe. Fordham was a playoff team that year also.

Would not expect anything less than that from a Navy guy. This is why the year end game is the best rivalry in CFB.

Wait you think they will beat tOSU?

Please try to get your facts correct:

September 4, 2015: Fordham 37, Army 35.

The record low for West Point in the month of September was 32 degrees in 1974. The average snowfall there from May through September is 0 inches.

They were a playoff team. You did get that right.

A hypothetical scenario in which the team in question beats 2 schools that it is winless against under this coaching staff (0-3 vs. Air Force, 0-2 vs. Duke).

The last time that USMA failed to lose to a team that it had no business losing to was 1945.

2011 is irrelevant to this conversation, as Jeff Monken's first season as the Army head coach was 2014.

Try again.

Didn't you just say it was a blizzard in October when Fordham beat them?

You just can't help shooting yourself in the dick can you?

Back in 1993, my HS traveled to West Point for a field trip. I was able to watch Army throttle Lafayette.

The artillery firing from outside the stadium after each TD was pretty great.

No it is relevant because I mentioned that they had played a snow game you tried to claim they did not. I got the years wrong, my bad. Stoopid Aggie

Oh geez why do you not quote the whole sentence?

you know where the comma and I believe were included?

Here is the ENTIRE FIRST SENTENCE and I am including the entire post

quote:

It was in a near blizzard in October when Fordham beat them, I believe. Fordham was a playoff team that year also.

Fordham WAS a playoff team in 2015, losing to Chattanooga in the first round.

So let's recap.

quote:

It was a near blizzard in October when Fordham beat them

False. It was the Friday before Labor Day and it was in the low 70's.

quote:

Fordham was a playoff team that year also.

True.

Try again.

Your entire hypothetical is based upon a Todd Monken-led team not shitting the bed against at least 1, and in many cases 2-3 inferior opponents in addition to beating 2 teams that he is winless against despite the data clearly being against it.

Here's another data point for you.

The only time West Point went to two consecutive bowl games was 1984-1985.

Here are the results of the seasons following those bowl games.

Following the 1985 season: 6-5 (3 games worse)
Following the 1988 season: 6-5 (3 games worse)
Following the 1996 season: 4-7 (6 games worse)
Following the 2010 season: 3-9 (4 games worse)

They have averaged a decrease of 4 wins after a bowl season, which would logically dictate that they go 4-8 this season (8-5 in 2016).

I'm sorry you had to play toy soldier and walk around with cap guns instead of going to a real military school. I guess that explains your ignorance today.

Oh hell no...

11-1 should barely get them in the top 25...

They have to beat tOSU and go 12-0 to be the G5 team in a NY6 bowl
