If your reason for wanting the Falcons to win a Super Bowl is to, somehow, bolster Drew's legacy -- you have a very warped logic.
Matt Ryan is about to get an MVP. An honor never bestowed upon Drew. Matt Ryan is already getting media accolades that Drew seldomly gets all for doing in one season what Drew has done the past 10.
The only thing keeping the media from saying that Matt Ryan is the best qb in the NFC South is that Drew is the only active qb in the South with a Super Bowl ring. A Lombardi for the Falcons would only further push Drew down in the eyes of the national media.
Instead of debates about Brady, Rodgers and Brees -- you'd get Ryan replacing Brees in the discussion. A Falcons win would have the exact opposite effect that you're hoping for.
You might want to reexamine your theory.

Back then the Falcons were our big rival only because we both SUCKED, and our game was the battle to be not the worst. Im a die-hard saints fan. I have loathed the falcons as long as I can remember. I never wanted that ignorant half-wit, Roddy White, to win anything. That guy can joke on a clown cock. However, this falcons team is different. They kinda kick arse...I am rooting for them over GB and potentially NE.
