As I've already stated previously. It wouldn't matter if ND's schedule wasn't tougher they'd be in regardless. Oregon doesn't have the name power ND does.

Now if it was Bama, Oregon, and WV I believe it'd be Bama vs. Oregon.

Bama v ND

ND's SoS is really high in the computers compared to Oregon's, AND the voters would love Bama v ND. Two of the best programs of all time. ND is second in national titles behind Bama, right?

I'm sure any NFL team looking for a LB would love that. Te'o, Mosley, etc all on the same field.

Sadly we'd have to hear all about how Oregon's speed would've beat both Bama and ND if this happened.

Brad Edwards said WVU has a big lead over Oregon in the computers. I think the Coaches Poll would go with Oregon, slightly, but the Harris would probably go with WVU because of Geno.

UT and MSU are both top 25 teams. Maybe not right now, but they are. MSU will finish ranked with two oo three losses, UT already has two, I think they beat MSU and lose to Bama/USCe. 4 losses to 4 top 12 teams. LSU is a top ten team, people are overreacting. UF is just better this year, and it was in the Swamp.

No we wouldn't although it's a fair argument against ND. We haven't even seen how good Bama is against a good team to boot.

By comparison maybe. @ UT, vs MSU, @ LSU, SECCG vs UF or USCe. aTm is solid as well.

As of now maybe. When half a season ranking gets you in the title game let me know. Texas and OU both are going to lose more and lower that SOS. Besides, I don't see WV winning out, same with ND. Hell, Oregon isn't invincible either.

A playoff sure would be nice.

You know this is a stupid argument, right? You're not stupid, but the argument is. USCe was trailing at the half to UK and the next week basically shut out UGA. We demolish the garbage teams we play. Who cares, come January we'll be talking about Bama v ??? in Miami.

I like the playoff coming, but the problem with it is one team could get in and get lucky with a bs call and win the National title and NOT be the best team in the country. The BCS has always got it right except for 04. The best teams have always met in the BCSCG.

Transitive properties brah. We shall see. Although I agree your team is taking care of business but we've got a ways to go.

Oregon would be ranked 3 though. Notre Dame will be 1 or 2 with Bama.

Based on what?

IMO and others Nebraska shouldn't have gotten in over Oregon.

Bama will have just beaten a top 10 SEC East Champion and have the name recognition.

ND will have played one of the toughest schedules in the FBS.
