For anyone who has played LeTriomphe....A 4 would barely break 90 there when the Web.com plays it.

Losing $10M or just making $10M less?

Isn't that the same thing at the end of the year? I think they meant they're making $10 million less in this Open than they would if they went to a more traditional venue.

Because they are pressing to shoot 70 or better. I'm not trying to shoot 70. I'm trying to shoot 95.

This scenario becomes completely different if you tell me to go try to break 100 than if you tell me to go shoot the best score possible. If you tell me to go break 100, I'll hit 6 iron off the tee on all of these short par 4s and take double bogey out of play, at least theoretically. I'm not doing that if I'm trying to score.

This is whats coming next year...

Where the waste bunker is down each fairway will be enclosed about another 15 yards each side. There were marking showing us where it was and it was about 15-20 yards wide at 280-290. The little bushes will be 3-4 ft in height and width. Fairways sloe to waste bunkers. O and last pic...Lauren Thompson was watching me.

So, why did the feel the need to change Pinehurst from the last two times they held the Open there? The 1999 US Open was a damn classic. And those green complexes are hard enough to score on without having to hit out of waste areas.

They cant have the rough high because the women play the next week. They will water the fairway all day and night after the last putt drops for the men I was told.

Pro told me it was just much easier upkeep. I asked how much it was to do....He said...yea um probably what the fedex champ makes.

They don't have lawn mowers in NC?

Still would be thick tho.

Think about what it takes to get an event the men play to the womens....Softer fairway, greens. Shorter rough, less dense rough. Slower greens.

And Lauren is much hotter and her arse is very firm in person.

530 yd par 4 and another with a 260 forced carry from the tee (if you hit driver where you aim) before you even sniff the green-any single digit handicap would be playing their best round ever to break 100

I was thinking about this very thing today. I'm an 8 handicap and with spotters I think I'd shoot about 125.
I usually shoot 80-85 on a 6200 yard course. On the hardest courses I've played at tees around 6600, I usually get around a 95. This course is miles and miles harder than that.
