The dude looks unathletic with a very awkward shot.

Unathletic lol?!( I thought the same until I watched him play.

Hes exactly who the Lakers want D'Angelo Russell to be.

savy, explosive, blow by speed, consistent jumper, high basketball IQ, can take over games, excellent pick n roll game, gets to the rim at ease and actually plays defense.

Idk about his brothers but Lonzo is the real deal!

Here's your Unathletic

He's the real deal and will not make it past the top 2 picks in the draft

I think he's gonna be jason kidd at best and shaun livingston at worst. People forget pre injury shaun livingston I think was a top 3 pick + supposed once in a lifetime prospect 6'7 point guard with incredible vision but that violent injury ended that(please nobody post a pic of it).

He's gonna have a good career but his dad acts like he's gonna be a 30/15/12 career guy who is gonna destroy what westbrook/harden are doing this year from day 1.

Main issues I see are pick n roll and shooting when going right. He turns the ball over way too much in the Pnr. And almost refuses to pull up when going right.

He's a way better shooter than kid an definitely way more athletic.

He's going to average at least 15-4-4 his rookie year.

I'm really curious to see how he does.

On one hand you have the basketball savant talk we hear given how much he's been raised from birth around the game, but on the other hand you wonder if he's just more developed than most and is further along as opposed to the better prospect.

I think he'll be good, but I do (like many) question his shot at the next level.

He's a good player that will have a good career. Somewhere between Conley and Wall IMO.

How "unathletic" guards have you seen dunk like that?

Jason Kidd is a hall of famer and he averaged 13-9-6 for his career and is a top 10 all time guy in 3pm and assists. If Lonzo can be better than all that then he's a hall of famer too. People forget just how good kidd was, the guy took the New Jersey Nets to back to back finals appearances when he arrived, think about how awful that franchise has been over the last 30 years and his small window there they got 2 finals appearances out of it.

he has an eFG% of .667, creates his own offense well, and is pretty much textbook at the point of release

There are things to worry about with him but I've never really understood the shot. It just looks funky

Go look at kids shooting % on 3s it's around 35 .. Lonzo shoots 50% from the field and 41% from 3 right now. I didn't say how many he made. Lonzo is clearly the better shooter.

Stop acting like it was just Kidding btw.

Richard Jefferson was a stud and so was Kenyon Martin at that time. Nobody is denying Kid is great . I simply told you Lonzo will be a better shooter than Kidd and he's way more athletic.

Lonzo Ball is comparable to Zach Lavine in terms of athletic ability
