29 times, but I only weighed 150lbs. So, it wasn't too embarassing.

Aren't you the bromo who said he ran a 4.3 also? Strong troll

This thread is not nearly as funny as the 40 thread, too much honesty. I prob could've hit it about 15 times. I was 220 and maxed 315. I can incline 225@10 reps right now on a smith machine, so maybe 15 reps flat bench if I'm lucky. Lots of injuries.

A big fat zero. I could probably only bench 185 in high school, but I only weighed 160 pounds then. My best as an adult is 11 times when I weighed 175.

I could knock out about 15 bouncing it off my chest. Strict, probably 5 or 6.

Once but I didn't lift or weigh as much in high school. I think I could maybe crank out 4 now

I'm guessing at 6'3" you have long arms. That's damn good for 150 pounds.

I now don't feel nearly as skinny when I was 5'10" 145 in high school

I did a set of 10 at my peak. Don't really give a crap of anybody believes me. I was 180ish and on the powerlifting team.

I believe you. 225 is a lot but it's not an outrageous amount for people that lift all the time

Yeah its not that bad. Our top 10 board in the weight room in HS was all well over 300 IIRC. The record was 370 or so. And that was at an all white school.

Not crazy to think that someone who lifted a lot past high school could rep out 225 10 times or so

None. I was about 135-140 lbs in HS though. I started lifting a lot heavier that summer after and into my first year at LSU. Gained 10-12 lbs of muscle and could do it about 3 times (with good form). Bench has never really been my thing though with weights.

I wonder why so much truth here, but so much fancy in the 40 thread? Maybe cause guys still lift but don't run?

Oh don't worry, a lot of it is still bullshite

But to answer your question, yes. Anyone can hit the weight room everyday and work themselves to bench 225 10 times

You can't run 40s everyday and train yourself to run a 4.4

2, maybe 3? I weighed 155 (on a good day) as a senior and maxed out at 250.

Probably twice

I was doing 225 as a max my freshman year, messed up my shoulder, couldn't lift for 6 months, and had to start completely over. With that bad shoulder I got up to 240 my senior year and then bruised my sternum in football practice. I gave up on bench after that.
