Colorado has a good coach. Resurrected San Jose. I don't know if they'll ever be a power, as their fan based doesn't demand that, but they could be good.

I read somewhere a year or so ago that Colorado's administration or athletic department put self-imposed recruiting restrictions on the football program after the Barnett era. Not sure what that entails, but it sounds fairly crippling.
