One would think with as many high lottery picks they'd have gotten a lot better by now

they can have their foundation when simmons comes back. simmons/embiid/whoever they keep between nerlens and okafor seems like a solid building block

They forgot to draft guards during the process.

Well he's their supposed best player and the #1 pick that was being billed as the future of their franchise.

How can a team be 0-6 with three first round interior players?

You need a present to have a future. Hell even the Lakers are competitive because they signed some decent vets. The franchise is a joke.

Half our starting lineup are like fringe bench players.

They are much better than their record indicates. Could very well have 2 all rookie first team and one 2ndnteam

They have zero guard play.

No Simmons, Nerlons was /is hurt right now, and still no serviceable point to lead the offense.

Noel is still out with an injury, Embiid is only getting about 20 minutes a game and the same for Okafor to not rush them back from their injuries. They could have easily won 3 of heir games but haven't learned how to close out an NBA game yet.

Whenever that Laker pick conveys the process will be over. Hinkie will live in our hearts forever though.

I think they're shooting for the 2026 FIFA World Cup to start competing.
