ND is 2-5 now...

Looking at their schedule, they could finish 3-9

What sucks the most is this team has top 25 talent and terrible coaching. By no means are they a playoff team, but they should not lose to Duke, NC State, UT, and get embarrassed by MSU.

when Kizer fumbled no one had total possession of the ball and ND player picks it up and runs towards the endzone but the ref blew it dead

How on Earth are people projecting Kizer as the #1 pick? I don't get it.

Whenever a Notre Dame quarterback throws for 300 yards, the media automatically places him at the top of NFL draft boards.

Meh...Kizer has major talent. I don't think anyone is worthy of a #1 pick this year but he'll go in the first or second round.

ND was thin at WR before Robinson went down
Robinson quit the team and now they have no WRs but insist on throwing the ball first and running it second

St. Brown is a great receiver and Torii Hunter Jr. is a shifty back, that's not the problem. Too many penalties, play calling is predictable, and BK doesn't allow the offense to get in a rythm (pulling Kizer, trying to throw deep ball after deep ball, predictable play calling).

Losing Robinson hurt, and not having a burner like Fuller has been an adjustment, but they are more than capable of passing the ball.

ETA: then BK gets in a shouting match with the Stanford strength coach after the game. He has no control and is a cocky a-hole, he needs to go soon. Notre Dame may not be the gold standard of college football anymore but they are not a 3-9 program.

Great receiver? No

All of the rest is true but they don't have anyone that can get open and create separation. All of Kizer's throws are contested in tight spaces

Kelly not adjusting his play calling is criminal

There's no good reason to keep paying him to produce garbage.

At 2-5, he's Charlie Weis like.

Yeah, a change would be beneficial for both parties.

The real question is who does Notre Dame go after? PJ Fleck? Obviously Herman is everyone's top target but i think LSU or Texas get him
