That's ok. You are entitled to a opinion and I'm not bashing any complaints everyone has other than when the truth isn't known fully or bashing of the crew. Trust me, no one is happy with the situation out there or like dealing with it but the fact of bashing not knowing the story why its like that is unfair. So, yea, just because I have ties don't mean I'm still gonna be OK with unfair bashing. Put your feet in our shoes and you would understand.

The dudes complaining are the same ones who don't fix pitch marks or rake traps or refill their divots. They haven't ever held a rake much less pushed a mowere

Yeah, I agree. For whatever reason Louisiana simply doesn't have an ideal golfing setup.

IMO, there's too many outdoor activities in louisiana and golf takes a backseat to hunting/fishing and other things for a large portion of weekend golfers

This. Copper Mill had the best greens anywhere over the winter. I'm sure they are trying to fix them. They look like beaver creeks greens this same time last year. kinda seems like maybe they over sprayed them with something. One reason or another they lost them.

No range and the current range does suck though. Love the course layout itself and hope they make it.

And the problem is more and more are picking up the sport and golf courses are becoming less and less. Hence you have to drive further out to find a place to play if you don't want to spend all day out waiting between every shot.

I can't fault those people for spending their money where they want

Golf isn't a priority to everyone certainly.

But there is only so much disposable income in the area to go around.

this is the exact reason I've concluded about the lack of interest in golf in southern LA

I have friends that won't play once it gets too hot too

I've never once found it too hot to golf

If anything, makes a few cold beers taste even better

I'm not sure the first part is happening, but the second most definitely is.
