Wasn't the coach in 2010 when you went 5-7.

It's a simple fact. Since the Longhorn Network was launched, your team is 41-35.

Since "Colt got hurt", your team is 46-42

They still have the horses, but they're just getting outschemed (whichever scheme it is this month). Hell, let Bill Snyder coach these guys and they'd truck everybody not named OU.

The SEC moving into Texas hasn't helped.

Because they went for a diversity hire and it blew up in their faces. Someone owes Red McCombs an apology. He called this from the start.

Charlie Strong was never the right fit. He's in over his head, sure, but there's more.

The culture/politics in UT/Austin are too convoluted to deal with and Texas high school kids are invariably overrated.

With their resources:

1 Natty in 2005. Before that, next one was 1970.

Won the Big12 a whopping 3 times in 20 years.

They've been bad. They're over rated because they have a shite ton of money. The folks driving the bus are semi-retarded.

It's because of the Longhorn Network. Ever since that was created, Texas has gone to shite.

The people running U of Texas don't prioritize football as the most important thing about a University, much less prioritize it as far and away the most important thing.
Those darn liberals.

Teddy Bridgewater made Charlie Strong. He caught lightning in a bottle with him at Louisville in a watered down conference and cashed it in for a big time coaching job. Even though he was UT's 5th choice.
